Anushka Singh is an Bollywood actor. She is the highest paid actress in Bollywood and she is recognized for her performance. She also serves as the ambassador for various brands and is the owner of her own line of clothing that is marketed to women, called Nush. Forbes Magazine has featured her too. Anushka Sharma was born May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father is a colonel (retd.) Her mother is also a homemaker. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's older brother, has served as a Merchant Navy officer and is currently a movie producer. Anushka has completed her studies at the Army School Bangalore. She is also a bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka Sharma is a Master of Arts in Economics. Anushka was hoping to be a journalist or model, not an actor. Anushka was enrolled into Elite Model Management after graduating and was trained by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka's first time as a model for fashion was in 2017, in which she was a model for Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was picked by Rodricks for a role at his spring-summer 2007 collection. Anushka has since her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in commercials for brands such as Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling profession, enrolled in an acting academy and began giving auditions for film. Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the 2008 movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featuring Shah Rukh Khan. For her screen test, she refused to perform the test in a hurry and instead spent a day to prepare herself. Later on she was signed for three movies under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film in which she starred performed the part of a young, middle-aged bride man (the part Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. The year 2010 was the year that Anushka Sharma was in the movie 'Badmash Company together with Shahid Kapoor Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang. The film received mixed praises. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat,' where she portrayed a Punjabi middle-class girl who started her own business. It was a surprise hit and received good reviews. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
